How to make a homemade zombified pigman farm without spawners:

Make 22 23x23 nether portal frames, all lined up. You can do this on the other side too, and put more next to ech other. Just keep a 3 block gap in between. They should look like 2 doorways facing each other. Do not light the portals yet. Then, make a bridge in between the big portals, and put turtle eggs, and then 3 layers of vertical facing trapdoors starting from the side of the bridge. Do this on both sides. Then, under this fall (the turtle eggs lure the pigment) put a water stream leading to a death pit for farming, light the portals, and you're done! One big 23x23x22 “mega portal” is 1.25x faster than a vanilla spawner spawning rate. This also works during daytime. Try building it in the desert by the way, it helps a lot. I made one of these on GGSMP, try /pw NobodyXp on GGSMP to see the farm(the bottom area for killing pigment). Also, this farm can also spawn CHICKEN JOCKEY zombie pigment, which is really cool. Disclaimer: you should make an obsidian farm, this uses a bunch of obsidian to make. But the XP rates are insane, and most importantly of all, it disregards the mob cap, so more of these would always increase the rates! And don't forget all of the gold you're making! If you want, make an autosorter that sorts rotton flesh, ingots, nuggets, and feathers, and smelts chicken and the gold swords! Good luck!

Or if you just want spawners, then use a silk touch pickaxe and mine them in structures such as mineshafts, bastions, fortresses, dungeons, etc.
