Thanks to LUCARIO_132 for recommending this kit!
Blaze is all about fire, with blazes and a fire axe.
What the kit gets
At max level, blaze gets a leather helmet with fire protection 2, an iron chestplate with fire protection X and protection 1, leather leggings with fire protection 2, and leather boots with fire protection 2. It also gets an iron sword with unbreaking 1, a fire aspect 1 stone axe with 6 uses, and 5 blaze spawn eggs.
Why should you get this kit?
1. Iron sword. The iron sword is one of the best weapons in blitz sg.
2. Fire axe. The fire axe allows you to deal extra damage to your enemy and slow them down! It's also useful to note that if you have enough XP(from the XP kill effect or XP bottles) and the map has anvils (such as darkstone), you can combine the fire axe with a normal stone axe, which is fairly common in chests, to get it to full durability!
3. Blazes. You get 5 blazes, which are great whichever way you use them. People tend to save these for deathmatch so other players cannot run. The blazes do a lot of damage, including fire damage.
4. Iron chestplate . The iron chestplate with protection 1 is very strong. It is better than any chestplate you find in chests, and is great is you like the guarantee of a good chestplate.
5. Fire protection . You get fire prot X on your chestplate, and fire prot 2 on all the leather pieces. This is great against kits that use fire.
Kill effect
It is recommended to use the resistance kill effect with blaze, as blaze low has base armor and armor potential. Although speed is often recommended for playing aggressively, which is what blaze is good with, you can often be quick drop, which is why resistance is good.
How to play this kit
Your starting armor is weak, so you want to loot as much as you can. The blazes are best saved until deathmatch, where enemies have nowhere to run.
At the start of the game, you want to run from mid. You should loot for a helmet, leggings, and boots. A rod and a bow is also preferred.
After kits are received, you can stop looting and play aggressively start attacking other players. It's preferred to play aggressively with blaze because blazes often get targeted for the blaze mobs and the chestplate.
When you enter a fight, use the fire axe as your first hit, but make sure to hit them only once to save it's durability. After that, run back a few blocks to avoid getting comboed, and then attack your enemy. They should take more damage while on fire, and they get slowed down by the damage ticks fire does. You can also spawn a few blazes if you want.
When deathmatch comes, spawn all of your blazes. Then try to stay back until your enemy gets close for melee, so the blazes can do as much damage as possible. After they get close enough, fight them in melee PVP to secure the win.
How to counter this kit
Blaze mostly relies on fire, so using a kit with fire protection, such as pigman, armorer, or even blaze, can counter blaze's greatest strength. Archer and snowman can also counter blaze because they can kill the blazes at a distance. If you aren't using any of these kits, try to ignore the blaze mobs and attack the blaze.
If you get hit by the fire axe, rod your enemy or try to run to wait out the fire if you're on high health. If not, just try to fight. Blazes tend to get overconfident after they set you on fire, so you can take advantage of that.
Summary
Blaze is a great kit that gives great mobs, a good sword, a good chestplate, fire protection, and even a fire axe! It's great played semi-aggressively
