Hunger Games Kit Review - Creeper!

Thanks to LUCARIO_132 for recommending this kit!

Creeper brings the BOOOOOM!

What the kit gets

At max level, creeper gets a leather helmet, a diamond chestplate with blast protection x and protection 1, leather leggings, and leather boots. It also gets a stone sword, 12 TNT, and 6 creeper spawn eggs.

Why should you get this kit?

  1. TNT. You can do a lot with this, including blowing people up, escaping fights, and even TNT jumping!
  2. Creepers. These do a lot of damage, and if you use them right, they can obliterate other kits! Their explosions also launch players into the air, doing fall damage. I have gotten blown up by creepers too many times to count.
  3. Diamond chestplate. This diamond chestplate with protection 1 is the best chestplate you can get from a kit, giving 4 whole armor bars and 1 level of protection!
  4. Blast protection. The chestplate also gives blast protection X, meaning that you are practically immune to explosions!
  5. Good base armor. You get 6 armor bars with 1 level of protection, which is better than full chain armor!

Kill effect

It is recommended to use the regeneration or instant health kill effect with creeper, as it's best used passively.

How to play this kit

At the start of the game, loot for a helmet, leggings, and boots. The ones that the kit gives are very weak. You can also loot for more TNT, a rod, and a bow. You should loot as much as you can, and stay out of combat as much as possible. The creepers are best used at deathmatch.

If you find yourself in a fight, place a TNT, to deal damage to your enemy. If your enemy backs off, then you can either take the opportunity to run or press the advantage to attack your enemy. If they don't, then wait for the TNT to explode and do a lot of damage, then attack them.

You can also spawn a few creepers as distractions during the fight, because they can do a lot of damage. However, they take a while to explode, so don't rely on them to carry you through a fight.

It's not recommended to spawn all of your creepers at once, because the creepers can block you from hitting your enemy, allowing them to kill the creepers or run, wasting your mobs.

If you are in a small space, such as a building, place a few TNT, and your enemy will have nowhere to run. Creeper is by far the best kit to fight in small spaces, because there is nowhere to run from the TNT.

If you find yourself having to run from a fight, place TNT under you as you run. Then, turn around and rod your enemy into the TNT to do a lot of damage. You can also do this any time in the fight, not just when you have to run.

At deathmatch, don't immediately spawn your creepers. You want to surprise your enemy. When they get close enough, spawn some creepers and attack them. Keep in mind that they can just kill the creepers while they are exploding, which is why you should attack them immediately afterwards. You can also place a TNT between you and your enemy before you enter a fight.

How to counter this kit

To counter the creepers and TNT, you can use kits that have blast protection, such as armorer, astronaut, or even creeper! If you aren't using any of these, try to run away and bow the creepers to kill them. You can counter the TNT by running back out of the range of the TNT, and you can rod your enemy while doing so.

Summary

Creeper is a great kit that has the best chestplate in the game and lots of explosive utility. It requires a lot of skill to use at it's best.

That's it for the kit review, comment below on what you think and what kit I should do next!
