Picking a kit in Blitz SG can be hard when there's so many options. To help you out, I decided to make this kit guide, to rank how good kits are in different aspects and how broad their play style is.
How ratings work:
Kit ranking has 7 categories. Each category has a certain amount of points based on the importance of the category (max points are listed after the category). Any special enchantments on armor count towards the armor potential category.
The armor potential category is based on how much more potential the kit armor has over the max armor you get in chests, which is a gold/chain/iron helmet, an iron chestplate, chain leggings, and iron boots, which totals to 6 armor bars. Armor with protection levels will be converted into the approximate amount of armor bars.
Base armor (5 points)
5 points: 7+ armor bars
4 points: 6-7 armor bars
3 points: 5-6 armor bars
2 points: 4-5 armor bars
1 points: 2-4 armor bars
0 points: 0-2 armor bars

Melee weapon (6 points)
6 points: +6 damage or higher weapon
5 points: Sharpness 5 weapon
4 points: Clean stone sword
3 points: Stone sword equivalent (not enchantable)
2 points: Wood/gold sword with sharpness 1
1 point: Any other weapon under +5.25 damage
0 points: No melee weapon
Ranged weapon (5 points)
5 points: Strong bow with decent amount of arrows
4 points: Good bow with decent amount of arrows
3 points: Low use Strong bow with enough arrows for uses
2 points: Bow with arrows
1 point: Bow or arrows
Armor potential (4 points)
4 points: 1 extra armor bar
3 points: 0.5 extra armor bars with more than 1 level of protection
2 points: 0.5 extra armor bars
1 point: Significant bonus enchantments (blast protection X, feather falling X, protection on non diamond pieces, etc.)
0 points: No armor potential or only minor bonus enchantments
Mobs (3 points)
3 points: Significant game impacting mobs
2 points: Mobs that impact the game
1 point: Mobs with a low impact
0 points: No mobs

The disclaimer of this kit guide is that it doesn't measure how "good" the kit is, but rather how broad the play style is. The true design of the grading system is to show what kit focused on what aspect of the game, and what kits have a broader play style. So when choosing a kit, decide which categories are most important to you and choose off that.
