I know a lot of you guys are wondering how I amassed a wealth of over 10m in cash and over 80 million in items in just 1.5 months. - Survival Btw
No, this isn't your average post: “how to get 1 million in 5 hours by XP Farms” or "Buy gold for gapples and sell on /ah for slightly more expensive” post.
Before the reset, I wanted to share with everyone on the exact way I became so rich, and what you can do to achieve it for yourself.
Rules:
- When buying things from /ah, if you want to resell it, only buy things that SOMEBODY 100% WILL BUY somewhere in the world. Only buy things that are under extremely high demand, which people need for a certain purpose.
- For example, people NEED the Inquisitive IV Book because it GIVES YOU MORE XP GUARANTEED and MORE XP = MORE BOOKS = MORE MONEY. Do not fall under the trap of reselling cheap items that people don't necessarily need, such as Random Ultimate books or Vote armor.
- Only buy things from /ah you KNOW you can get a profit off because others NEED IT.
- Personally, I follow a simple method. It's called the 15% rule. If I buy something for a price people regularly buy it at, I will resell for 15% more. This works around 80% of the time, because people are willing to spent that extra 15% of money for an item they NEED.
- Lets drop an example similar to the last one. If someone is selling Inquisitive IV 100% for 175k, a price which is normally seen in /ah, I will resell it for around 200k. Around 80% of the time, people will buy it at that price. Here, I will make around 30k of profits from something so effortless.
- To earn profit consistently, just keep following that rule for most items. Though, this doesn't always apply and only applies to things regularly sold in the general market of regular prices. You would want to maintain giving people a “good” price while also charging them extra.
- NEVER sell an item more than the most you've ever seen it purchased.
- All the time, I see people selling extremely overpriced items in /ah. This will almost never work dependent on how much the overprice is. If you've never seen Inquisitive IV sold for 300k, don't sell it for 300k, nobody will buy it. Only focus your SALE PRICE on the amount you BOUGHT IT FOR
- The whole goal is to squeeze as much profit as possible in every single item you sell.
- Keep on doing this until you reach more expensive items.
- The items I buy and sell follow a simple increasing pattern along the weeks I have been playing. When I started, I originally resold vote loot. Now, I am reselling dragon swords daily. I have sold 3 different dragon swords in the last week. (1 to Ur_cristiano_me for 9 million, 1 to xx_GML_xx for 7 million, and 1 to Bunnella for 7150000). With this money, I just use it to find a item in the high millions I can resell for more profit, I never settle on just having 7 million (for example), and just keeping it.
- If you want to follow the pattern of reselling, I recommend this:
- Vote loot - Cheap books - Legendary Books - OP Swords - p2w such as EOTW (SOMEONE will still buy EOTW but nobody wants phantom anymore so don't buy that). Once you get EOTW, you will finally find yourself in the 1 million range. You might want to go back to buying OP Swords for 50-200k profits, and work your way up to 2 million. Once you reach 2 million range - P2W Armor such as Dragon/OPZang. From there, you can keep reselling (for example, resell Dragon Boots on /ah that you bought for 1950000 for 2500000, but never go beyond 3 million because it gets more unlikely that someone will buy). Only list for prices that someone might buy at. Once you're there, keep following that pattern and you'll end up at Multitasks/Dragon Swords. Thats exactly how I did it. I kept grinding till I had 6 million, which put me in the Dragon Sword range. (I later sold it for 9 million to Ur_cristiano_me).
- BE SMART
- THIS IS THE MAIN WAY I EARN MONEY: BEING SMART, and BE QUICK. Learn the art of buying things from the auction house quickly. I do not want to share the method I use because then everyone will steal my flow and get me outta earning my profits. For example, Wtap god hosted a huge giveaway on Ah where he gave away dragon swords. 50% of the time, I had been the person to buy it first from /ah before everyone else, getting me millions of dollars for free.
- DON'T INTENTIONALLY SCAM PEOPLE
- If somebody accidently lists their items on /ah for 10 dollars, I would recommend giving it back to them. As you gain experience in /ah, you will see this happen to you by falling for tricks like “Yo bro list your item for 1 million and 3 cents so I can have 0 dollars!!!1!!!”. This happens to everyone, and if It happens to you, you will feel equally as bad. It is all part of life though and you just move on.
- ANY PROFIT IS A PROFIT
- For example, If you see a Dragon sword for 6 million on /ah. Buy it immediately. As I said earlier, they actually have sold up to 12 million before, and people will buy for more than 6 million. If you know you can squeeze SOME profit at some point in time, it is worth buying. Even if you only get 100k in profit, it is still worth it because it is 100k more than you had 5 minutes ago.
- BE PATIENT.
- Things will not sell immediately. They can take up to a week to sell. Just keep listing on /ah freshly every couple hours so people will see it at the top, and eventually it will probably be bought. THIS WHOLE PROCESS takes TONS of patience, and if you aren't patient, it will never work.
On May 1st, I had a full set of Diamond armor with some cool enchants on it, and an Inquis IV Sword. I lost it all to diego_25t from him killing me in his base. I was inexperienced. Now I know what not to do. Do not fall for cheap tricks, and never give up. If you think of giving up because you experienced a loss like this, simply don't. There are always better things ahead, you just have to work your way to them.
On June 1st, I had 3 Dragon Swords, 1 OP Zang set, 1 Dragon set,, and 1 multimask. I thought I was the richest I could possibly be, because that was extremely rich.
On June 15th, the day of posting this, I have: 3 Dragon Swords, 2 Full Sets of Dragon, 1 full set of OP Zang, 2 spare dragon helmets, and 4 multimasks. If you follow these steps, you could overly double your money in just 2 weeks just like me.
Before the reset, I plan on selling everything for money, and using that money for credits. The second that reset hits, my plan is to follow these rules exactly.
My account name is “Yorange”, and no, I do not have an Arch.mc web account because some person already created it as a joke. I have done this without a single monetary purchase, and you should be able to do so as well. I promote buying things from arch shop because it helps the team get money which they might use on server costs, and this is great. Though, I still believe you can get insanely wealthy without a single purchase.
Best,
Yorange
