This thread is for people to post annoying strategies they come across in bedwars and possibly add some ways to get around them. Hopefully this will be helpful to some people. (Please do not post random comments as it gets in the way!)

Fireball Spamming
This is a common “strategy” that unskilled players tend to use, involving the purchase of large amounts of fireballs, usually at the end of the match, and is used to kill other players without having to put much effort into it.

How to Tell if Somebody is Going to Fireball Spam
These players often buy fireballs near the start of the game when they should probably be spending on something else, like blocks, swords, armor, utilities, etc. They also tend to stay in their base, but not always.

How to Beat Fireball Spammers

There are a large amount of ways to beat fireball spammers, but these are the most practical ones I have found:
-Using Invis
-Dream Defenders
-Ender Pearls
-Rescue Platforms

If you find that an FB spammer is particularly clumsy, you can also charge in and gamble on them blowing themselves up. Funny, but doesn't work often enough to be considered useful.

(After beating them, always make sure to insult them for being an insufferable little sh*t.)

That is a good idea, but it's not too consistent for some people, as ping, lag, and other things can get in the way.

Golem spamming 

Another common strategy that new players use after losing their bed and just camping the generator in base. They will usually buy 1+ golems to protect themselves since they know they are bad at pvp and don't want to attempt clutching.

How to Tell if Someone is about to Golem Spam

These players usually have lost their bed and are camping in their generator for an excessive time, which means they are either going to spend their iron on fireballs or golems and their gold on a bow and arrow. You can see how they spent their iron by checking if they have fireballed u when you are rushing their base. If they haven't, it means they have golems prepared to use for protection.

Ways to beat golems and secure final kills

- Go up the side of the base (most maps have stairs leading to the top of a base on the sides) and build up 2 blocks while crouching (they can't see your nametag this way) and hit the golems until they die. The golems can't fight back because you are out of their range this way.

- Divert the golems by going up the staircase along the side of the maps, then jump down from the top using either water or ladders to get rid of fall damage and pvp the person. This method usually works if you are fast enough because golems cannot catch up to you.

- Use Tnt, TnTSheep, Fireballs, or a Bow and arrow to take down the golems. Although this is probably the least practicable way to do this, it still works if you are unsure if you have the time or pvp skills to take down the golem by yourself or secure the final kill.

After beating them, you can be toxic cuz they are being annoying using this strategy

The first two ways that you list for beating golem spam are good, but less consistent than you make them seem. Golem AI makes it a bit difficult to effectively divert them, and the staircases on the sides of bases usually have slabs or unfavorable shape. A much more effective way would be to bring Popups and blocks so that you can kill the golems faster than the spammer can spawn them, and if he wants to stop you, he has to come outside and knock you off, after which you use popup.

Never bridge just tnt jump so they have nowhere to go

Hider:

These unskilled players rather hide from their inevitable doom than fight.

They most likely have their bed destroyed.

They tend to buy a lot of blocks (or rescue platforms to hide under the map)

Counter: Buy a compass and go to their location. If you don’t see them, use a TNT sheep to find their x and z coords. If the sheep doesn’t take care of them, check under the map for any wool or otherwise abnormal blocks. Fireball them if you do find them. If they are above, use pop up towers so it is harder to knock you off, and fb from there.

speaking of hiders, people who tower are the worst, the best way to deal with these people is to just get a ladder. If they try to fireball you just deflect it, your best way to kill them is to fireball them or use a bow and arrow.
