In ArchMC the console Blocks some words with * but instead a better idea would be to block the full message rather than send it. As even with it blocked it is almost always going to be a nasty message that should not be said. If these messages are said and the console just says “This message can't be said because it was ‘word’ in it".

The mods themselves aren't really the problem but they aren't doing much either.
