That is not a scam- for some reason it changed it to a different money currency, change it back to USD- scroll all the way to the bottom and next to “English” you will have the different money currencies- If you are in usa- change it to "USD" and it will be back to normal.

It is on the forum- at the bottom, change it to USD there, you don't have to go to your tablet settings.
