I know the issue of pay-to-win items is controversial, but I want to just add a few reasons why p2w is not all that bad. 

First, making money is the reason Arch is able to exist. The huge network expansion is almost done, and with many new and updated machines the server will be running better than ever and will be able to handle thousands of players. Ranks and tags are a great source of revenue, but limited-time items such as the pay-to-win bundles on Survival are much better.

Second, Survival is not primarily made for PvP. All of the p2w items are PvP oriented, but Survival was never made to be Arch's PvP gamemode - that spot is taken by Lifesteal. The majority of players (although I may be a bit biased because this includes me as well) play Survival for various other reasons, such as grinding money, creating builds, and hanging out with friends.

Third, p2w is still grindable without spending a cent. For example, I have never spent any money on Arch, but I still had plenty of p2w items before I sold them all. I also have many ranked accounts and many tags, all obtained without spending money. This will be even less of an issue next season, when there will be no items you can exclusively get by spending money.

Just saying, I used to be completely anti-p2w but now I realize that it isn't that bad. Also, can you please elaborate on your point that p2w sucks?
