I've been playing on the Arch Minecraft Server lately and I keep hearing about Magic Dust. I know it's used for things like boosting enchantment success rates or crafting special items, but I have no idea how to actually get it.

Could anyone help me out with the following?

What are the main ways to obtain Magic Dust?

Do you get it from mobs, disenchanting books, or something else?

Any tips for beginners on farming it efficiently?

Let me break it down for you

/enchanter gives you the special enchant books, the more complex they are the more xp they cost

/tinkerer destroys special enchant books, giving you a dust pouch

you must right click on the dust pouch to get either magic dust (useful) or mystery dust (useless)

you can also use /alchemist to upgrade your books and dust by putting two of the same kind together
